# 2 GOLDEN GIFT 7/2

# 9 NOEASYWAYOUT 10/1

# 7 MORNINGLOVER RAMBO 6/1

GOLDEN GIFT looks to be a very good contender. With a formidable 68 average speed figure at the distance, seems well suited for today's outing. Looks formidable against this field and will probably be one of the front-runners. He has been running solidly and the Equibase Speed Figures are among the best in this group. NOEASYWAYOUT - Exhibits the look of a lucrative play, averaging a solid 50 speed figure which is one of the most competitive in this group of horses. Has some encouraging handicapping angles which make this horse a bet. MORNINGLOVER RAMBO - Has run strongly when racing a dirt sprint race. Win percentage one of the strongest in this group of animals.

# 1 YOU SEE IT 2/1

# 4 GOLDEN PATTERN 5/2

# 3 TACHI 4/1

YOU SEE IT looks quite good to best this field. He has been running well and the speed figures are among the best in this group of animals. Always good to invest in a conditioner with this kind of quite good win percentage - 17 percent - at this distance & surface. Has very good early speed and will probably fare soundly against this field. GOLDEN PATTERN - Ran a strong last race. With a reliable ROI of +6 this conditioner has shown very good results with entries running at this distance and surface. TACHI - A solid 76 avg Equibase class figure may give this gelding a distinct class edge against this group. Overall the Equibase Speed Figs of this animal look strong in this race.

#6 FANCY THIS (ML=7/2)
#2 EAGLE RISING (ML=9/5)

FANCY THIS - I like the case that this gelding's last speed figure, 56, is tops in this group. Stewart drops him down to this class level. You don't need too much more data to think this horse is in a good spot at this level. Stewart moves this gelding to the dirt today. Look for improvement from the most recent race on the turf. EAGLE RISING - This should be an easier task than what he was asked last time out against 'open' company. Taking a trip to a lower class rank; has the ability to make his presence felt. While the finish was disappointing, this horse made a good stretch move last time around the track at Fair Grounds. Have to do better right here.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 LUCAME (ML=5/2), #3 SIGNS AND WONDERS (ML=6/1), #4 ANDY'S LEGACY (ML=8/1),

LUCAME - This racer likes to be in the money, but doesn't usually win. Forget the top spot. Not probable that the speed rating he notched on May 10th will be good enough in this race. SIGNS AND WONDERS - Hasn't been coming close at all recently. Don't feel this less than sharp equine will make an impact today. That last rating was most unsatisfactory when compared with today's class figure. ANDY'S LEGACY - Difficult to bet on at 8/1 odds after the most recent outings.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: Hal - FANCY THIS - This gelding improved his speed rating two races back on Mar 8th and improved again in the last race.

#4 WE CAN DANCE (ML=4/1)

WE CAN DANCE - This gelding has been trying different distances, but from the looks of things, he ran a nice figure last try at this trip. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run his best in the 3rd or 4th start back. That 58 fig this gelding garnered in his last race tells me he's a big time player this time.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 B C F'S OUTRAGEOUS (ML=5/2), #5 MIDNIGHT JUSTICE (ML=7/2), #6 RACE TO THE MOON (ML=5/1),

B C F'S OUTRAGEOUS - Can't wager on this runner in today's sprint of 7 furlongs. Hasn't even hit the board in a short distance event recently. MIDNIGHT JUSTICE - No success for this racer in a short distance contest over the last sixty days tells me that this gelding is in a difficult situation This horse hasn't shown much in the last pair of races. RACE TO THE MOON - Improbable that the rating he garnered on April 22nd will be good enough in this race.
